Same app, same features. Personal use is free for hobby, education, open source projects, and content created without monetization. A Commercial license is required for paid client work, internal business videos, or content that generates revenue. The Commercial license also unlocks your own logo or text as a watermark on exports, early access to new features, and 6 months of priority email support.
No sign-up is required to download or use the app. Buying a Commercial license goes through our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) — you'll receive a license key by email and activate it inside Notch.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are supported, alongside region-specific methods Lemon Squeezy enables.
Refund requests are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their terms of service and applicable consumer-protection laws. If something is wrong, reach out at hello@getnotch.co and we will help work it out.
